Taxi's Hamburgers was founded by Jeffrey Neustadt with the first restaurant opening in San Mateo in November of 1991. Taxi's International LLC is the owner of the Taxi's brand and owns and operates Taxi's Restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, we are the franchiser of Taxi's Hamburgers throughout the United States. We currently have units in California and Georgia and will be opening in new markets this year. Taxi's is part of the hottest segment in the restaurant industry know as Fast Casual. We offer high quality "cooked to order" food and friendly, prompt, service, in an exciting and creative themed atmosphere. Taxi's recently accelerated its franchise program opening several new territories throughout the country.

Taxi's is all about the food! Taxi's food is simply prepared, yet is of the highest quality. We offer a wide variety of food products, all of which can be prepared in a quick service environment. Taxi's is best known for its award winning burgers, fresh tossed salads and our thick Dreyers/Edys hand spun milkshakes.

We have developed a diverse menu, which appeals to a wide range of guests. Yes, we have the Best Hamburgers around. Our 7 ounce burgers are a special blend of ground chuck which is delivered fresh and is never frozen . We are proud to offer a variety of menu items which are lower in fat and vegetarian choices as well. Chicken sandwiches, garden burgers, fresh tossed salads, homemade chili, Ice cold beer, thick shakes are just some of the other reasons our guests frequent Taxi's. All of our products are made from only the finest ingredients available. All food is cooked to order so we will gladly prepare your meal just the way you want it. We welcome special requests. Although we are quick service requiring our guests to order as they enter the restaurant, our employees deliver the meals to our guest's table. Our unique interior décor emphasizes the casual dining environment. Our restaurants are a combination of burger joint and a family sports bar. All of the restaurants have television sets and are a great place to enjoy a game with the family. Our new restaurants have mutable flat screens and a small beer and wine bar along with some limited table service.
